Highlights of the Sky Bet Championship match between Rotherham and Brentford

Second-half goals from Marcus Forss and Ivan Toney earned Brentford a 2-0 win at Rotherham to lift them into fourth place in the Championship.

The Bees opened the scoring in the 57th minute when Forss fired home from 12 yards after being fed by Toney following Bryan Mbeumo's cross.

Toney then notched for the 13th time this season with a penalty eight minutes from time after Rotherham substitute Mickel Miller was sent off for hauling down Sergi Canos.

It was a third successive win for Thomas Frank's side, who are now unbeaten in eight as they continue to shake off the disappointment of last season's play-off final heartache.

Rotherham, who held Bournemouth to a 2-2 draw at the New York Stadium on Saturday, were competitive in the first half but never threatened a fightback after Brentford broke the deadlock with the defeat extending their winless run to four games.

Paul Warne says he is proud of his team's performance but conceded they didn't create enough and Brentford were deserved winners.

Rotherham's Paul Warne: "I'm really proud of my team, to be honest. I thought in the first half we were excellent and it's probably the best 45 minutes we've had against Brentford for a few years.

"I asked the lads to leave their bodies out there. You just need a good chance to fall to you here and there and we probably didn't create enough good chances tonight to win a game."

Thomas Frank says it was a very pleasing performance from his Brentford side, against a Rotherham team he felt deserved praise for making it a tough game.

Brentford's Thomas Frank: "I must praise Rotherham - they made it difficult for us, especially in the first half. Second half I thought we were in control throughout and scored two very good goals.

"It was a very pleasing performance with a lot of attitude, hard work and togetherness. But I still expect us to get to another level."
