Stoke City keeping tabs on ex-Huddersfield Town and Leeds United man

Stoke City are interested in Chelsea forward Izzy Brown.

The Potters could bring the 22-year-old in on a season-long loan, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

Chelsea want to loan him out again for more first team experience and Stoke are looking into a deal for him. The Championship side are also after Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan, as reported by The72.

Brown, who is an England Under-20 international, spent last season on loan at Leeds United but injuries meant he was limited to just two appearances for the Whites.

He started his career with spells at Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion before Chelsea snapped him up as a youngster in 2013. He has since played once for the Blues’ senior side.

Brown has had various loan spells away from Stamford Bridge, the first of which came in the Dutch Eredivisie with Vitesse during the 2015/16 season.

He then got his first move to the Championship with Rotherham United for the 2016/17 campaign and then spent the remainder of that year with their Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town, where he helped the Terriers gain promotion to the Premier League.

Brown then spent part of the season after in the top flight with Brighton and Hove Albion but struggled to make an impact with the Seagulls.

He will be eager to impress this year following his last two loans at Brighton and Leeds so could be a useful signing for Stoke.
